Because the Human Biology Program can prepare you for so many possible careers, it is important to begin thinking early about which direction you want to take. Your Human Biology advisor can help you reflect on this and plan ahead, coordinating your HUBI coursework with other components of your degree, such as minors or certificates.
Our students go on to a diversity of careers and post-baccalaureate education. Many of our students go into the health professions, ranging from clinical medicine, occupational or physical therapy, dentistry, nursing/physicians’ assistant; to hospital administration, and pharmaceutical company sales or research and development.
Many of our students go into service work, such as Peace Corps, Teach for America, or work in non-governmental organizations (NGOs) either in the U.S. or overseas.
