Dear HUBI alumni,
I hope this newsletter finds you well wherever you are and whatever you are pursuing.
This past year has provided a welcome move to something resembling normalcy; classes were predominantly in-person, and part way through the spring semester masks became optional on campus. The program welcomed Dr. Jennifer Cullin as a visiting assistant professor teaching sections of B200, B300, and B400. Jennifer’s background is in Anthropology and she has developed new HUBI courses examining biological normalcy, and stigma. Additionally Dr. David Church joins us with a joint appointment in Gender Studies. David’s background is in film studies focusing on the representation of gender and sexuality in film.
